Rainy Day Lake Minnewanka Engagement Session

We spent a few fun hours adventuring around all the the Lake Minnewanka area has to offer, for Rebecca & Garrett’s engagement session.  We had first planned to do a familiar hike to them that would take us in to Warspite lake, but we were rained out for both times we tried.  Even though it was still a drizzly day, we had so much fun getting to know each other and their pup Kieta, while exploring different areas around lake Minnewanka area.  We hit it off even before their session with animals being so close to both of hearts!  I love how they personalized their session by wearing their HART hoodies from a rescue they fostered with for a few years. They also love to hike, and so do I!

Rebecca & Garrett were engaged while we were on a vacation in Nova Scotia. Garrett had actually proposed while they were on a hike! He was trying to be romantic and tell Rebecca how much she meant to him while she kept talking on about the cliffs and if they would run into a bear on their  way back.  I love when my clients share their engagement stories with me.
